Permanent drum magnet iron separator

Utilizing ferrite or neodymium iron boron (NdFeB) permanent magnets as the magnetic source, this system is primarily designed for the continuous purification of granular or coarse powdered materials. When material enters the separation zone, magnetic substances are captured and carried away by the rotating magnetic drum, while non-magnetic substances are ejected by inertia along the tangential direction of the drum. This achieves automatic, continuous separation of magnetic and non-magnetic materials throughout the process.

Purification in non-metallic minerals, chemicals, and food industries such as ceramics, quartz, glass, refractories, and abrasives; also for dry pre-concentration of weakly magnetic ores like hematite and limonite, and dry beneficiation of manganese ore.
